|Hannah has been playing volleyball since the age of 13 and has progressed through the Junior development programme to play in Junior inter insulars. More recently Hannah has been playing women’s and mixed including the Ladies’ B team in the inter insular and is hoping to play for the Island again this season.This is Hannah’s first time on the Committee. She stood for the position of Treasurer to give something back to a sport she loves and to help her Management Accountancy studies.|

|Jo Turville – Minutes Secretary & Sitting Volleyball|
|Jo has been playing volleyball since the tender age of 11, locally since moving to Guernsey in 1997. She has played for a number of teams in the mixed and ladies’ leagues, and has made a number of appearances at inter-insular and Island Games matches. Jo was part of the winning team at the Guernsey Open, thanks to Old ‘n’ Delicious.
Jo has helped in a coaching capacity for NashCopy ladies and Guernsey ladies and now runs the weekly sitting volleyball sessions on Saturday mornings.On the admin side, Jo has previously held the position of secretary and media liaison officer, and now takes up the minutes secretary mantle for the second time.

|Jen has played volleyball for 7 years having started as a junior at the age of 13 and played in the junior inter insulars. Jen joined the ladies’ league at the age of 15 and after her first season went on to play in the Ladies’ B inter insular team and has been playing at Island level ever since attending her first Island Games in Aland in 2009, Isle of Wight in 2011 and Bermuda in 2013.
Jen is also involved in coaching juniors which she really enjoys and hopes to bring her experience through to her new role as junior development officer.

|Gemma Nicolle – Development Officer & Acting Fixtures Secretary|
Gemma started playing volleyball at the age of 10 and played for the junior island inter insular team. At the age of 13 she played for NRGi in the ladies league before joining Nashcopy. She re-joined Nashcopy ladies and started playing for Cannon mixed team in 2012, after graduating from the University of Portsmouth, where she was vice president of the University’s volleyball club. Gemma is now captain of Cannon.
Last year, Gemma successfully qualified as a level 1 volleyball coach. She now assists with coaching the junior club and the junior Morgan Sharpe mixed team as well as helping with sitting volleyball sessions and youth clubs.
During the summer, Gemma organised beach sessions and tournaments to promote the sport. She hopes to continue open indoor sessions and tournaments during the winter season and encourage grass root participation in the sport.
